My name is Evgeny Demchenko (aka Zhenya).

I've started swing dancing in 2003 in Moscow. Since then I've been practicing many kinds of American vernacular jazz dance including Lindy Hop, Charleston, Tap, Balboa, Authentic Jazz, Blues and other dances.

I have five years of experience teaching regular classes, private lessons and workshops mainly in Russia but also in China and Vietnam.

Right now I'm teaching regular Tap and Jazz classes in Beijing and performing with the Swing Beijing Performance Group.

I've won more than 14 Lindy Hop competitions in Russia including 2 times Russian Lindy Hop Championships.

I love to travel around the world dancing at different dance events, teaching and playing music for dancers.

Apart dancing I'm doing volleyball, tennis, rock-climbing, skiing, snowboarding and I play guitar. I'm also a computer geek :)

My name is Evgeny Demchenko (aka Zhenya).

I'm a dance performer, instructor and swing DJ from Moscow living in Beijing at the moment.

As a swing dancer I'm specialized in Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz Dance, Charleston, Tap, Balboa and Blues. I have a rich experience performing and teaching these dances in Russia, China, Korea and Vietnam.
